Why I teach...
I believe that everyone has value and is capable of learning.  Education does not just happen at school or during a certain class period. Every new experience during our day provides us with opportunies to learn something about ourselves, about our world and about how to live our lives in a better way.  I encourage my students to take advantage of the opportunities they are given and make the world a better place.
Students are taught using a mult-sensory approach.  I understand that not everyone learns the same way and individual differences are recognized and accommodated.  Each student receives class instruction as well as individualized attention. 
This is my 29th year of teaching.  Each year brings new changes and challenges.  I embrace the opportunities that I have to really make an differnece in the life of a child.  I love the kids who never fail to teach me new things and never fail to make me laugh!
